Redesigning for a New Consumer

Course: Advanced Packaging Design

Objective: Students were challenged to identify a brand, research its targeted consumer, and then flip the branding on its head to appeal to an unexpected consumer. Deliverables included new branding, packaging, and documentation of their research, process, and packaging prototypes.

A New Brand

Course: Advanced Packaging Design

Objective: Students design an original consumer brand and develop a cohesive packaging system for three related products. The project focuses on research, brand identity development, and the application of visual assets across multiple packaging formats. Final work is presented with process documentation and a short presentation.

Neighborhood Studies

Course: 2D Form & Surface

Objective: Students explore Gestalt theory through a series of compositions that examine visual relationships and the contrast between natural and manmade forms. The project focuses on using positive and negative space to develop clear and simplified visual solutions, beginning in black and white and expanding selected designs into color.
